Coventry City can confirm the Academy players who will be leaving the Club following the conclusion of their scholarships.
Following the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign, Dan Lafferty will leave the Sky Blues. Third year scholar Dan has been with the Club since a young age and showed determination to recover from serious injury and feature for the Under 23s last season – we wish Dan all the best for the future.
Alex Costa, Keelan Fallows, Kai Forsyth, Matthew Harland, Joe Nightingale, Sam Pitts-Eckersall, Hayden Purves and Adam Taylor have not been offered professional contracts and will leave the Sky Blues at the end of the season.
Academy Manager Dan Bolas said:
“It is never an easy decision to release players from the Club, especially as many have been with us at the Academy from a young age.
“I would like to thank the players for their commitment and hard work over the years, and also thank their families for the support that they have provided too.
“We hope that these young men will look back fondly at their time with us, and we wish them all the best of luck for the future.”
