The Coventry City squad have voted Callum O'Hare as their Player of the Season!
Callum has been named Players' Player of the Season 2020/21, presented by BoyleSports, after the votes were counted up from the Sky Blues squad.
Callum spent the 2019/20 on loan with City, becoming a key part of the League One winning side and making the move a permanent one last Summer.
This season Callum has been an integral component of Mark Robins' side once again following the step up to the Championship, playing 48 games during the season and scoring 3 goals, as well as providing 8 assists, to earn him the Players' Player of the Year prize from his peers.
Upon receiving news of his award, Callum said:
“It means a lot to be voted Players’ Player of the Season, because they see me every day in training and in the games and we work together, so for them to vote for me is a massive achievement.
“It shows that the lads have that respect for me and it’s nice that they’ve chosen me, I’m delighted.
“It’s been my first full season in the Championship and last year we wanted to get promoted and we did that and this year we wanted to stay up and we did that, and I feel like we’ve done ourselves proud.
“I think it has shown why it was the right decision to come back to Coventry. I knew I wanted to come back here after my loan spell ended because the fans were great with me and the way everything was, with the players and the coaches there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to come back, especially after getting promoted and I’m so glad that I did now.”
