LOAN WATCH: Jordon Thompson scores for Solihull Moors

It was a double game weekend for Jordon Thompson and he capped it off in style, with his first professional goal.

On Saturday, Thompson started his first game for Solihull Moors and it was a dissapointing debut, as the Moors slipped to a 2-1 defeat away at Wrexham.

However, on Monday, Thompson started back-to-back games and he opened the scoring ina  4-0 rout against Altrincham at home.

With 38 minutes on the clock, JT found the back of the net to help the Moors to all three points and climb up to 14th in the National League.

Elsewhere, Declan Drysdale and Cambridge United are still waiting to confirm their promotion from League Two after another defeat, this time to Harrogate.

It was a nine-goal thriller on Friday, but the U's were on the wrong side of a 5-4 score-line, with Drysdale being withdrawn at half-time.

In Scotland and it was a victory for Hearts and defeat for St Mirren, but both Gervane Kastaneer and Brandon Mason were unused subs.

Finally, Marcel Hilssner was not in the matchday squad, as Oldham Athletic lost 4-1 away at Mansfield Town.
