NEWS: Seating plan confirmed ahead of 2021/22 Ricoh Return Membership sales

15 March 2021

Ahead of Ricoh Return Memberships and Season Tickets going on sale shortly, Coventry City have confirmed details of seating arrangements at the Ricoh Arena next season.

With the possibility of COVID restrictions on capacity still continuing, with this yet to be confirmed as the Government’s Coronavirus lockdown exit roadmap remains subject to change, some of these plans may alter as precautions do.

For this reason, Ricoh Return Memberships will only be available up to 25% of the Ricoh Arena capacity – 8000. Ricoh Return Memberships will go on sale this week and be removed from sale on 31st May, unless sold out to the 8000 limit prior to that date.

All areas will be made Standard Zone for Ricoh Return Membership Season Tickets for next season, with the Premium Zone seating areas suspended until 2022/23. This allows for any movement of seats due to social distancing, without impacting on fans who would have paid for Premium seating locations.

The Family Zone seating areas will be moving back to the newly re-opened Block 34, and Block 33 if demand requires. These areas will targeted for young supporters, and a family friendly atmosphere will be encouraged in this area. Pre-match Family Zone activities will also move back to this area.

Blocks 23 and 24, the Family Zone seating area in more recent years, will no longer be Family Zone areas and will now be open to all supporters to buy in, which will increase ticket availability in the East Stand.

The Club is looking to open the North Stand during the 2021/22 season if Coronavirus capacity restrictions allow and there is demand for tickets from supporters, hopefully creating a wall of Sky Blue behind the goal in at the North Stand end. Details will be confirmed in due course, however this area will initially not be available to buy in, but fans will be able to move to this area when it does open.

Due to the stadium and concourse configuration, away fans will remain in the South Stand. Tickets will be sold to away fans, once they are allowed to attend, initially in order of Blocks 7, 8 and 9, so that they will not initially be behind the goal.

All Season Ticket holder seats from the 2018/19 will be reserved for those supporters until at least 21st June, when we hope there will be more clarity on the return of fans.

Details regarding Ricoh Return Membership packages/sales/priority purchase for fans etc will be announced shortly, but we hope that this update provides more information for fans planning their return.
