LOAN WATCH: Declan Drysdale Shines For Cambridge

The defender was named in the EFL Team of the Week...

Sky Blues defender Declan Drysdale, continues to impress at Cambridge United as he was named in the EFL League Two Team of the Week.

The U's secured a 1-0 win against Walsall this past weekend with a last minute strike, as they continue to sit top of League Two.

Dec was praised for his performances, earning man of the match in the game and being recognised by the EFL for his performance.

This was the defender's seventh appearance for Cambridge as he secured another 90 minutes under his belt.

Elsewhere in League Two, Marcel Hilssner started for Oldham Athletic in their 0-0 draw against Southend United this past weekend.

Marcel played another full 90 minutes for the Latics, in what would prove to be Harry Kewell's last game in charge as he was relieved of his duties following the final whistle.

In Scotland and both Brandon Mason and Gervane Kastaneer were not involved for their respective clubs, with Gervane an unused sub.
