The Sky Blues came away from Ewood Park with a point after they came from behind thanks to a second half strike from Matty James.
The Sky Blues found themselves a goal behind, despite controlling the majority of the first half, after Ben Brereton found the back of the net.
City looked to get back into the game and they were rewarded five minutes after the restart when Matty James scored his first goal for the Sky Blues.
