VACANCY: Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach

Coventry City Academy are excited to be able to offer the rare opportunity to join the fulltime coaching team as Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach.

Working closely with the Head of Goalkeeping at the football club, the successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation, delivery and evaluation of the goalkeeping syllabus for the Under 9 to Under 18 goalkeepers, whilst assisting in the development of the Under 23 goalkeepers.

Managing a team of part time goalkeeping staff, the role will also oversee the individual development plans, weekly feedback reports and six weekly reviews for all Academy goalkeepers.

The successful applicant will receive a personal staff development plan to support their own learning, have access to a range of formal CPD opportunities throughout the season and provided with support on their coaching from the club’s Academy Head of Coaching.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS NICE TO HAVES
Goalkeeping UEFA B Licence Experience working in Academy football
UEFA B Licence FA Advanced Youth Award
FA Youth Award (or equivalent) Goalkeeping UEFA A Licence
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate (InDate) EFAIF Qualification (In date)
FA Basic First Aid In Sport (In Date)
