Oliver Langford has been confirmed as the man in the middle for the Sky Blues pre-season fixture with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Mark Robins’ side take on Wolves at the Coventry Building Society Arena, with kick-off scheduled for 1:00pm on Sunday, August 1st.
It will be the first time that Langford has taken charge of a game involving the Sky Blues since our 3-2 victory over Stoke City in April.
This year will mark Oliver’s 14th season as a referee in the Football League over that time period he has officiated five Sky Blues' fixtures.
With Langford in the middle, City have a record of:
Wins – 1
Draws – 3
Defeats – 1
Last season Oliver awarded 107 yellow cards and six red cards in the 30 games he officiated across the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One, Sky Bet League Two, EFL Cup and FA Cup.
Langford will be assisted by Craig Taylor and Daniel Leach whilst Tom Reeves will act as the fourth official.
