Coventry City Under 23s pre-season friendly game against Bedworth United on Tuesday 27th July has been postponed.
The postponement is due the on-going COVID-19 situation affecting the Sky Blues playing squad, across first-team, Under 23s and Under 18s age groups.
We can confirm that the first-team fixture against Mansfield Town on Tuesday will go ahead as scheduled.
We apologise to Bedworth United and their supporters for the inconvenience cause and hope to be able to re-arrange the friendly.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
"Unfortunately we have had to postpone Tuesday’s Under 23s game against Bedworth United due to the on-going situation we have at the Club regarding COVID-19.
"We wish Bedworth United all the best, thank them for their understanding in this matter and look forward to playing them soon.”
