Coventry City can confirm details for Ricoh Return Membership Season Ticket holders in Phase 1 and Phase 2 and Season Ticket holders regarding dispatch of their Season Tickets.
The process to dispatch Season Tickets for fans who purchased in Phase 1 will get underway at the start of the week commencing 26th July – all of these fans will receive their new Season Ticket card ahead of the first home league game against Nottingham Forest on Sunday 8th August (4:30pm KO).
Due to the Club only receiving Government confirmation on 5th July that there would not be any capacity restrictions, this short timescale has meant that Phase 2 and regular Season Ticket cards will not reach those supporters in time for the first game of the season.
Therefore, these fans will be sent a paper ticket for the fixture against Nottingham Forest and also the game against Reading on Saturday 21st August.
Season Ticket cards are scheduled to be with those supporters to use for the game against Middlesbrough on 11th September.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“We’re pleased to confirm when those fans who bought in Phase 1 will receive their Season Ticket cards, ahead of our first league game back on 8th August.
“Unfortunately due to the short timescale between the Government announcement regarding the lifting of the 8,000 capacity limit and our first game, it has not proved possible to get the cards manufactured, processed and dispatched so that all of the Phase 2 and Season Ticket holders above this 8,000 limit would receive them.
“Therefore, we will send these supporters paper tickets for the first two home games so that all of these fans should receive their Card for the fixture against Middlesbrough on 11th September.
“We apologise for any inconvenience, but hope supporters understand that with the unique challenges brought to us by COVID and the restrictions plus logistics of moving back to Coventry, we are working as best as possible to provide solutions for supporters.”
