Max Biamou makes his 100th Sky Blues appearance this afternoon, against Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s.
Interestingly, the striker is also in line for his 50th City start, having made an identical number of appearances from the bench. The Frenchman joined from Sutton United in 2017 and has been part of two promotions during his time with the club.
In the only change from the 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, Josh Pask replaces the injured Fankaty Dabo for his first league start since October.
Dom Hyam and Leo Ostigard form the centre-back duo in front of Ben Wilson, with Sam McCallum and Pask marshalling the flanks. City’s midfield compromises of Ben Sheaf, Gus Hamer, Matty James and Callum O’Hare, behind Viktor Gyokeres and the centurion Biamou.
Michael Rose also returns to the matchday squad for the first time in 2021, providing defensive reinforcements from the bench.
