OFFICIALS: Referee Watch Versus Norwich City

Darren Drysdale will be the man in the middle...

7 January 2021

Darren Drysdale will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues' FA Cup clash with Norwich City this weekend.

Mark Robins' side take on the Canaries in The Emirates FA Cup at Carrow Road, with kick-off scheduled for 12pm in City's Third Round tie.

It will be the first time that Drysdale has taken charge of a game involving the Sky Blues this season, with his last outing coming during City's 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in the League One back in December 2019.

This year will mark Darren's 16th season as a referee in the Football League and over that time period he has officiated 13 Sky Blues fixtures.

With Drysdale in the middle, City have a record of:

Wins - 6
Draws - 5
Defeats - 2

This season so far, Drysdale has awarded 33 yellow cards and one red card in the 14 games he has officiated across League One, League Two, EFL Trophy, the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

Darren will be assisted by Adam Crysell and Adrian Waters, whilst Paul Howard will act as the fourth official.
