LOAN WATCH: Marcel Hilssner Makes Oldham Debut

The midfielder started against Walsall this past weekend...

Marcel Hilssner made his debut for Harry Kewell's Oldham Athletic this past weekend, as they drew 1-1 with Walsall in League Two action.

Hilssner was handed a start in his first game for Oldham and played for 83 minutes, impressing with a positive display against the Saddlers.

Marcel will be hoping he can make it back-to-back starts when the Latics host Newport County at Boundary Park next week.

Elsewhere, Brandon Mason missed St Mirren's defeat to St Johnstone through injury and Jordan Young and Jack Burroughs' clash in the FA Trophy for Gloucester City was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
