The Sky Blues made the perfect start to 2021, as they came away from The Den with all three points this past weekend.
City started the game on the front-foot and were rewarded for their efforts when Jordan Shipley’s shot came back off of the post and hit Jake Cooper and went into the back of the net.
A few minutes later City’s lead was doubled and it was that man again, Gustavo Hamer who saw his free-kick strike the wall, but on the follow-up he made it two.
Millwall did pull one back late one when Jed Wallace converted from the spot, but the Sky Blues held on for three points.
