Coventry City are saddened to learn of the death of former player Peter Hindley.
Peter had been diagnosed with dementia and passed away peacefully on Monday at the age of 76.
Full-back Peter joined Coventry City in 1973 from Nottingham Forest, where he played nearly 400 games and had represented England at Under 23s level.
Making his City debut in February 1974, Peter would go on to make 33 First Division appearances for the Sky Blues.
He stayed at Highfield Road until 1976 when he moved to Peterborough United, going on to also appear for Burton Albion.
Peter will be remembered with a minute's silence ahead of kick-off in the match between his two former clubs tonight.
Our condolences are with Peter's family and friends at this sad time.
