Coventry City will be wearing the Championship Club Membership shirt for this Saturday's game against Brentford!
The dispatch of shirts was completed on Wednesday* and with the Sky Blues live on Sky Sports this Saturday lunchtime against Brentford, we felt it was a great opportunity to wear the shirt and to publicly show our thanks to supporters who purchased the Membership at the start of this season.
This will be a one-off - the shirt will not be worn for a game again.
The exclusive and unique shirt includes the names of all Championship Club Members on the rear, as well as those of staff at Coventry City. The shirt is only available to Members, and will not be sold in the Club Shop.
A distinctive image of the Coventry skyline adorns the front of the shirt, with the design on the front intended to be a celebration of the colour Sky Blue - there are varying levels of Sky Blue represented on this to represent the different shades that have been used on Home kits during Coventry City's existence.
Each of the Blue lines represents a soundwave to refer back to the fans that the jersey is celebrating and then the soundwaves make up a distorted representation of the Skyline to tie together the fans/City and the Club into one movement.
There has been a fantastic reception on social media and in comments to us from fans who have already recevied their shirts, and we hope that all fans enjoy seeing the Sky Blues wearing this incredible shirt containing the names of this season’s Championship Club Members!
