Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“We are looking forward to the FA Cup, which is always a special competition which means a lot to us and our supporters.
“The FA Cup will obviously bring back memories of John Sillett and George Curtis, who we sadly lost this year, and the team of 1987 and their victory.
“Following incidents of disorder at our earlier game against Derby County this season, we have had to work with the Police and the safety team at the Arena to address this.
“This has resulted in Blocks being closed and no tickets being available to buy on the day. This is not something we want to do, but we have had to act to prevent a repeat of those incidents.
“We as a Football Club have worked extremely hard to get the Club back into Coventry and into the Arena and to help build the atmosphere and experience on our home matchdays, and the safety of all supporters is vital in this.
“Ticket prices have been reduced for this game and we hope that many supporters will come along and enjoy the Third Round game and hopefully the start of a good run in the competition.”
