Coventry City resume their Championship campaign with a trip to Huddersfield on Saturday and are coming in for support to maintain their push for promotion by getting back to winning ways.
The Sky Blues go into the early kick-off just one point off the play-off places and have been clipped into 17/10 from 15/8 by BoyleSports to leave the John Smith’s Stadium with all three points.
That move may be down to a three-game unbeaten run on their travels, while hosts Huddersfield go into this one with just one draw and two defeats from their last three outings.
Forward pair Viktor Gyokeres and Matt Godden have 16 league goals between them this term and they are once more the pick of the punters in the scoring markets, with the Swede narrowly leading the betting at 9/2 to add to his season tally of nine by scoring the opening goal of the game.
Godden however is hot on his heels at 5/1 having played a part in Coventry’s last three goals on the road with one assist and two goals. He has also been trimmed into 7/4 from 2/1 to score at any time on Saturday as he seeks to boost a run that has seen him bag five of Coventry’s last nine goals.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “The betting for Saturday’s match with Huddersfield has been finely balanced all week, but the activity in the scoring markets suggests it's Coventry who boast the greatest goal threat. Viktor Gyokeres will be keen to get back amongst the goals and remains a popular first goalscorer pick, but Matt Godden is only two goals behind him now in the scoring charts and is increasingly popular at 7/4 from 2/1 to add another this weekend.”
