We are delighted to confirm the signing of Jake Clarke-Salter on a season-long loan from Chelsea!
The centre-back will link-up with Mark Robins side for the 2021/22 SkyBet Championship season from the European champions.
Clarke-Salter has risen through the ranks at Chelsea and has gone on to enjoy loan spells with Bristol Rovers, Sunderland, Vitesse and Birmingham City.
Jake made his Premier League debut with Chelsea back in 2016 at the age of 18.
The 23-year-old joins City with Championship experience, having spent the last two seasons with Birmingham on loan and also spending time with the Black Cats.
Jake also has experience on the international stage, representing England’s Under-18s, 19s, 20s and captaining the Under-21s.
