The Sky Blues take on Northampton Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Jodi Jones makes his first start since November 2018 as the Sky Blues hope to advance to the second round of the Carabao Cup for a third successive campaign.
Bright Enobakhare also makes his first start since returning to the Sky Blues this summer, as Mark Robins makes 10 changes from the side that beat Nottingham Forest on Sunday, with only Julien Dacosta keeping his place.
There are also debuts for academy graduate Ryan Howley, as well as a first start Josh Reid.
The bench tonight includes youngsters Fabio Tavares and Marco Rus who are yet to make their debuts for City.
