The Sky Blues take on Nottingham Forest at the Coventry Building Society Arena in our first fixture of the Sky Bet Championship season.
Simon Moore, Ian Maatsen and Martyn Waghorn are the debutants for City as they look to mark their return to Coventry with three points against Chris Hughton's Forest.
In front of Moore is Julian Dacosta, who gets the nod at right back as Kyle McFadzean captains the side. He is alongside Fankaty Dabo and Dominic Hyam with Maatsen making his first competitive appearance for the Sky Blues at left back.
Callum O'Hare, Gustavo Hamer and Ben Sheaf start in midfield with new signings Waghorn and the returning Viktor Gyokeres up top.
Finally there is a place on the bench for Jodi Jones, as he makes his long awaited return to the matchday squad.
