Coventry City can provide a further update to fans on the dispatch of Season Tickets for fans.
Due to delays in printing cards Phase 1, caused by logistics around the move back to Coventry, to ensure consistency for all fans, all Phase 1, Phase 2 and Season Ticket holders will now receive a paper ticket for Sunday’s game.
Corporate Supporters, who have a different card and are a smaller number, will receive their Season Card later this week.
We can confirm the following:
- Dispatch of Season Cards for Corporate Members will be completed tomorrow.
- Dispatch of paper tickets for the game versus Nottingham Forest for Phase 1 Season Ticket holders will take place on Wednesday, to reach fans by Friday at the latest.
- Dispatch of paper tickets for games vs Nottingham Forest and Reading for Phase 2 and regular Season Ticket purchasers will take place on Wednesday, to reach fans by Friday at the latest.
Phase 1 fans will receive their Season Card at the start of next week and then be able to use them for the game against Reading.
Vouchers for fans who had a 19/20 Season Ticket or a Championship Club Membership and have bought a Ricoh Return Membership are being sent separately and will by receive by fans from Thursday.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“This has been a huge logistical challenge due to our move back to the Arena. Some infrastructure that was required to be in place to read Cards at turnstiles took longer than expected to get up and working, which has then delayed the production of cards.
“To ensure the best possible experience and consistency for fans, we will use paper tickets for Phase 1, Phase 2 and regular Season Tickets on Sunday.
“We have done this so that we can ensure the same information applies for all fans in these groups, rather than for example some Phase 1 fans having a card in time and others not, which may have been the case.
“The only exception is Corporate where, due to the smaller number of fans, we are able to get cards to them in time.
“All fans are scheduled to receive their tickets to access the game, whether a Card or paper tickets, in time for Sunday’s opening game versus Nottingham Forest.”
In the event of any fans not receiving their Card (Corporate) or Paper Ticket (Phase 1/Phase 2/regular Season Ticket) by Sunday’s game, they are advised to visit the Ticket Office in the South-East corner of the Coventry Building Society Arena on the day of the game. Corporate supporters are advised to visit the VIP Collection Desk in Main Atrium.
Please do not contact us to chase delivery of tickets prior to this, as it will only be on the day of the game when any issue can be resolved.
The Ticket Office at the Coventry Building Society Arena will be open from 10:30am on Sunday, while the VIP Collection Desk will open from 2pm.
*Please note - fans may receive an email confirming their purchase again. This happens as the paper ticket is processed, and fans do not need to take any further action.
