Sky Blues in the Community are collaborating with Warwickshire County Council to encourage COVID-19 vaccine uptake.
Warwickshire County Council commissioned several artists to deliver important vaccination information in order to encourage uptake in individuals who may be reluctant to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
Filmmaker Antony Barkworth-Knight travelled to Coventry to interview one of our MENtalk members, Dave Allcock.
Since joining the MENtalk programme, Dave has had a significant improvement in his mental health - which supported him in being able to get the COVID-19 vaccination:
“I cannot begin to explain how much this has helped, I’m a different person. I feel mentally a bit stronger and it has helped me to be physically more active as well. I wasn’t going out and felt trapped in a never-ending cycle, but now I have hope and methods to help me get better mentally and physically.”
