The EFL have confirmed that John Brooks will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues first Sky Bet Championship match of the season this weekend.
Mark Robins side will take on Bristol City in Sky Bet Championship action at Ashton Gate, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.
It will be the first time that Brooks has took charge of a game involving the Sky Blues since the 1-0 defeat to Port Vale on Boxing Day back in 2017.
This year will mark Brooks' 5th season as a referee in the Football League and over that time period he has officiated 3 Sky Blues fixtures.
