Coventry City can confirm that dispatch of pre-ordered home and away kits will take place during the week commencing 28th September.
Home and Away kits went on pre-order in August, with fans advised to expect delivery of kits to begin at the end of September.
The home kit takes inspiration from the style the Sky Blues wore in the early 90s, while the black and red away kit harks back to the 1890s and the Club’s days as Singers FC.
Sales of the Hummel kits have been incredible again - 5 weeks after launch this year, we are 25% ahead of last season’s shirt sales 5 weeks after launch!
We can confirm that the kits are scheduled to be received into the warehouse and dispatched to fans next week as planned.
Dave Boddy, Coventry City Chief Executive, said:
“We know fans are eagerly awaiting receipt of our fantastic new home and away shirts, so it’s great news that they are scheduled to be received next week as planned.
“They have both proved very popular with our supporters and are still available to purchase at ccfcstore.com.”
Kit will currently not be available in the Club Shop at Arena Shopping Park, and we will update fans as to when they will be.
Currently this will not be until at least the middle of October at the earliest, and we will then be reviewing this on a weekly basis in line with any government guidance, social distancing etc. This is due to the size of the store and limits on the number of customers we can have in the shop, and the effect any kit launch has on the atrium area at Arena Shopping Park.
