NEWS: Championship Club Season Ticket holders to be able to stream Bournemouth game

24 September 2020

Championship Club Season Ticket holders will be able to stream next Friday's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Bournemouth live via iFollow.

Due to the match being televised by Sky Sports, there are no match passes for sale on iFollow, in line with Sky's broadcast arrangement with the EFL.

However, following work by Coventry City and the EFL, Season Ticket holders who have an iFollow account will be granted VIP access to watch the game.

The match is currently scheduled to kick-off at 6pm on Friday 2nd October.

The arrangements for this game will be different for Championship Club Season Ticket holders to what will apply for other games that are not being televised by Sky Sports, which will be communicated in due course.

An email will be sent next week by Coventry City to Season Ticket holders instructing them of the arrangements:

- You will be provided with a free pass to watch Friday's match against Bournemouth. If you sign in to an existing iFollow account from Thursday onwards (if using the same address on which you have received this e-mail) or create an iFollow account (again, using the same address on which you received this email), you should see that ‘Subscribe’ page displays a message saying: 'You already have access to this match'.

- Simply sign in and return to iFollow before kick-off on Friday night and you'll be able to watch the game!

For the purposes of this process, your email address will be shared with the EFL's technical team and will be purged from their system immediately after the match, in line with the EFL Digital Privacy Policy.

If you do not wish your email address to be provided to the EFL, please email CCM@ccfc.co.uk by this Friday at 9am – this will however mean that you will not have access to watch the game via iFollow.

If fans do not provide Coventry City with an email address before Friday, they will not have access to watch the game via iFollow. Details can be updated at www.eticketing.co.uk/CCFC or by emailing ccfctickets@ticketmaster.co.uk

If one e-mail address is attached to multiple accounts/Season Ticket holders, then only one pass will be applicable – so please where possible have make sure that any email is only used by one Season Ticket holder only.

This solution was not possible for QPR game, due to logistics around the game and the then continuing sale of Memberships, but we’re pleased we are now able to provide access for the Bournemouth game to these fans. This solution will also be provided for any future Sky Sports home games, ensuring those fans are able to watch all home games.

Any Championship Club Member who has a Season Ticket and have any queries prior to matchday regarding accessing the game via this method can email CCM@ccfc.co.uk for help.

On matchday, fans with any technical queries can email ifollow@efl.com for help or use the live chat function on our website for assistance – Coventry City are unable to assist with technical ifollow issues directly on matchdays either via email or social media.
