The Sky Blues were held to a goalless draw at Oakwell against Barnsley this past weekend.
City had the best chance of the game when centre-back, Leo Ostigard rose highest in the box, but his header came back off the crossbar.
The point sees the Sky Blues move up one place to 12th in the Championship, ahead of this week's fixture against Bournemouth at St Andrew's.
