TEAM NEWS: Michael Rose Starts For City

The defender makes his first league start for the Sky Blues since March...

Michael Rose makes his first league start since March against Brentford this afternoon.

Rose has been frustrated with injuries since the beginning of the campaign, before coming off the bench against Bournemouth to make his first league appearance of the season.

The defender is one of four changes from the defeat to the Cherries, with Josh Pask, Jamie Allen and Amadou Bakayoko all coming into the starting lineup.

Leo Ostigard and Jordan Shipley drop to the bench, with Gus Hamer suspended following his red card last time out.

Marko Marosi retains his place in goal with Pask, Rose, Kyle McFadzean, Dom Hyam and Ryan Giles playing in front of him.

Allen comes into the midfield alongside Ben Sheaf and Callum O’Hare with Bakayoko joining Matty Godden in attack.

Ben Wilson is fit enough to make the bench with Gervane Kastaneer and Max Biamou also returning amongst the substitutes.
