27 October 2020

The EFL have confirmed that Andy Davies will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash with Middlesbrough tonight.

Mark Robins side take on Middlesbrough in Sky Bet Championship action at the Riverside Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.

It will be the first time that Davies has took charge of a game involving the Sky Blues since City's 0-0 draw with Morecambe on the final day of the 2017/18 season.

This year will mark Andy's 9th season as a referee in the Football League and over that time period he has officiated five Sky Blues fixtures.

With Davies in the middle, City have a record of:

Wins - 2
Draws - 1
Defeats - 2

This season so far, Davies has awarded 21 yellow cards and three red cards in the seven games he has officiated across the Championship, League One, EFL Trophy and EFL Cup.

Davies will be assisted by Richard Wild and Steven Meredith whilst Michael Salisbury will act as the fourth official.
