Darren England will be the man in the middle...

The EFL have confirmed that Darren England will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash with Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

                           

Mark Robins side take on Blackburn Rovers in Sky Bet Championship action at St Andrew's with kick-off scheduled for 3pm this weekend.

It will be the first time that England has took charge of a game involving the Sky Blues since the time City last played Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup during the 2017/18 season.

This year will mark Stroud's 6th season as a referee in the Football League and over that time period he has officiated six Sky Blues fixtures.

With England in the middle, City have a record of:

Wins - 2
Draws - 2
Defeats - 2

Last season Darren awarded 94 yellow cards and three red cards across 35 fixtures in the Carabao Cup, FA Cup, Premier League, Championship, League Two and League One Play-Offs.

England will be assisted by Nick Hopton and Natalie Aspinall whilst Peter Wright will act as the fourth official.
