Coventry City’s exclusive Championship Club Membership shirts have entered production!
Unveiled last month, the shirt is exclusive and unique to Championship Club Members and will not be available to purchase in the Club Shop or online.
The design has proved extremely popular with Sky Blues supporters!
A distinctive image of the Coventry skyline adorns the front of the shirt, with the design on the front intended to be a celebration of the colour Sky Blue - there are varying levels of Sky Blue represented on this to represent the different shades that have been used on Home kits during Coventry City's existence.
Each of the Blue lines represents a soundwave to refer back to the fans that the jersey is celebrating and then the soundwaves make up a distorted representation of the Skyline to tie together the fans/City and the Club into one movement.
The name of all Championship Club Members will be displayed on the back of the shirt, alongside Club Staff, meaning these shirts are very unique and personalised.
Once Memberships went off-sale, the Club began the process of finalising the order. This task included making sure that fans had successfully ordered the shirt after they had purchased their Membership, and then making sure that names being put on the shirt are correct
This involved checking all 3,500 names for spelling errors and correcting typos which existed in a number of supporters names – including hundreds of calls and emails to individual fans to check and correct the spelling of their names.
Fans will receive their shirts around the end of January, with a 12-week lead time from the design (i.e. the names) being finalised to fans being received.

“This is a very unique shirt and a fantastic design, which has proved popular with Members and non-Members alike.
“While it is very popular, this will remain an exclusive shirt only for Championship Club Members as our thanks to them for purchasing their Membership and supporting the Club in this way during these unprecedented times.
“We have also added the Club Staff, including Mark Robins and the coaching staff, to the shirt too – really emphasising how the Club is all together.
“Due the extreme personalisation of the shirt, and work involved in making sure fans details were corrected for them, we are a couple of weeks behind where we hoped to be in the process, but fans will be receiving a fantastic shirt in 12 weeks time.
“The exclusivity of the shirt and the fact that the players will be wearing this for a game this season really add to how truly special the shirt is.”
