Ngandu’s loan side, Keflavik FC are currently top of the 1. deild karla with three games remaining of the season, as they look to secure the title.
Elsewhere, there was a Gillingham debut for defender Declan Drysdale this past weekend against Shrewsbury Town.
Drysdale was a substitute, coming on at half-time for Jacob Mellis, registering his first 45 minutes for the Gills since arriving on loan last week.
He played alongside fellow City midfielder, Josh Eccles who once again completed another 90 minutes for Steve Evans side, who snatched a point late on, to move them up into 6th in League One.
