OFFICIALS: Referee Watch Versus Nottingham Forest

Geoff Eltringham will be the man in the middle...

3 November 2020

The EFL have confirmed that Geoff Eltringham will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash with Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.

Mark Robins side take on Nottingham Forest in Sky Bet Championship action at the City Ground with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.

It will be the first time that Geoff has took charge of a game involving the Sky Blues since City's 4-0 win over York City in the EFL Trophy back in October 2012.

This year will mark Geoff's 12th season as a referee in the Football League and over that time period he has officiated three Sky Blues fixtures.

With Eltringham in the middle, City have a record of:

Wins - 2
Draws - 0
Defeats - 1

This season so far, Eltringham has awarded 13 yellow cards and one red card in the five games he has officiated across the Championship and EFL Cup.

Eltringham will be assisted by Ian Cooper and George Byrne whilst Tony Harrington will act as the fourth official.
