LOAN WATCH: Brandon Mason Makes St Mirren Debut

The defender started for the Scottish side...

Sky Blues defender, Brandon Mason finally made his debut for St Mirren this past weekend, after recovering from injury.

When Mason agreed to join the Scottish Premier League side back on Deadline Day, he was still recovering from an injury, which meant his start to life in Scotland would be delayed.

However, it was a positive start for the left-back, as he played 80 minutes on his return to action, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

St Mirren were ultimately held to a goalless draw against Dundee United, leaving them 11th in the SPL, although they currently have three games in hand on 10th placed Livingston.

Back to England and it was the first round of the FA Cup this weekend, which saw Gillingham come up against Woking at Priestfield.

Declan Drysdale started and played the full 90 minutes in the 3-2 win, with Josh Eccles an unused substitute in the game which saw the Gills book their place into the Second Round.

There was similar delight for Morgan Williams and Yeovil Town, as they left it late to progress to the next round with a 1-0 win over Bromley.

During the game, Williams made a superb clearance off the line to keep the Glovers in the game, and ensure their qualification into the next round.
