Brandon Mason and St Mirren progressed into the next round of the Scottish League Cup, after topping Group G.
There were two fixtures in the space of a week for Brandon, as he made a second start of the season in a 1-1 draw with Greenock Morton, where he ultimately scored the winning penalty to earn the Scottish side a bonus point.
The following game this past Saturday saw Brandon come off the bench at half-time, as he helped secure a 1-0 victory away at Queen's Park, to set-up a Second Round clash with Aberdeen.
To Gillingham and Steve Evans' side were not in action this weekend, but they did take on Arsenal's Under-21s in the EFL Trophy.
Both Declan Drysdale and Josh Eccles started the game and played the full 90 minutes, as they drew 1-1, before losing on penalties for a bonus point.
Finally, in the National League there was late heartbreak for Morgan Williams and Yeovil Town, as they conceded late on against Woking, which meant their run without a win continues.
Morgan played the full 90 minutes in the game, his third since returning on loan to the Glovers.
