Following the full-time whistle last night, Mark Robins gave an injury update on some of his players that missed yesterday’s clash with Nottingham Forest.

City were without the likes of Fankaty Dabo, Dom Hyam and Jordan Shipley for the trip to the City Ground, with all three having started the previous game.

Robins confirmed that both Dom and Fanky are out with injuries, whilst Jordan Shipley is out of action for 14 day due to coming into contact with someone with coronavirus.

“Dom Hyam has concussion and Fankaty Dabo is injured.

“Jordan Shipley came into contact with somebody who had came into contact with somebody who has coronavirus and he is fourteen days out.”

Elaborating on the Dabo injury, Robins said:

“It’s the same thing he had before, and he is struggling to get himself going and hopefully we can resolve it and he will be back fighting fit after the international break.

“Fingers crossed we can get that problem sorted for once and for all because he can’t get himself going.”

During the game against Forest, Matty Godden seemed to pull up with an injury which resulted in him being withdrawn for Tyler Walker.

Godden limped off and Robins told how he doesn’t know the full details of Godden’s injury and he is hoping to find out more ahead of the Watford game this weekend.

“Matty Godden limped off with an injury and that’s another blow, how bad that is I have no idea and that’s something at the bottom of his foot and he has felt that.

“I don’t know the ins and out of that and how long that is going to be, but fingers crossed we can get everybody patched up and sent out for what Is a tough game at Watford.”
