City remained unbeaten during November...

30 March 2020

After suffering defeat for the first time back in October, the Sky Blues returned to unbeaten ways for the month of November.

City started the penultimate month of 2019 being held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against Accrington Stanley at St Andrew's in a game which Max Biamou saw red.

Next up, Biamou enjoyed success this time round in the final Leasing.com Trophy fixture of the group stages against Southampton's Under-21s.

Biamou scored a hat-trick, with his winner coming in injury time to see of the Saints and help the Sky Blues progress into the next round of the competition.

Talking of competitions, City were on the road for the first round of the Emirates FA Cup, as they made the trip to take on League Two side, Colchester United.

And it would be a comfortable afternoon for the Sky Blues, as a first professional goal for Sam McCallum and another for Jordan Shipley were enough to see off Colchester.

Back to League One football and a moment of individual brilliance would prove to be the difference between the Sky Blues and Rochdale at St Andrew's.

After falling behind early on to the Dale, Jordan Shipley got the Sky Blues back on level terms heading into the break.

When the second half got back underway, in the 72nd minute, midfielder Liam Walsh picked up the ball on the half-way line and went past four Rochdale players, before firing home to secure all three points.

Finally, City ended November with a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, after being pegged back late on in the game, in which Dom Hyam had put City in front.
