This week for our extended Classic Highlights, we bring you action from 1972 as Coventry City beat Manchester City at Highfield Road.
The Sky Blues were 3-2 winners, with goals from Willie Carr, Colin Stein and Brian Alderson.
Joe Mercer, in charge of the Sky Blues alongside Gordon Milne, was victorious against his former side in an entertaining game for the neutral - but maybe not for home fans, who saw a 2-0 lead pegged back before Alderson's winning goal.
The match was the debut of Tommy Hutchison, a signing that month from Blackpool, and he was in fine form.
