Midfielder Liam Walsh made it a hat-trick of awards to wrap up the 2019/20 League One title winning campaign.
Liam came away with the Goal of the Season, Young Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year, capping off a superb campaign for the midfielder.
Walsh made 34 appearances after joining on loan from Bristol City, scoring five goals, including his Goal of the Season against Rochdale back in November.
Along with Liam, Fankaty Dabo won the decorated Player of the Year award, voted by the supporters of Coventry City.
Fankaty joined in the summer and made the right-back position his own, developing a style of play which made him a threat going forward and a rock at the back.
Dabo made 41 appearances and becomes the second defender to win Player of the Season in successive seasons.
Elsewhere, Jordan Shipley won the Community Player of the Year award recognition of his dedication in his community work both with the Club and with Sky Blues in the Community.
Also, Matty Godden won the Top Goalscorer award after capping off an impressive first campaign at the club, scoring 15 goals, including back-to-back hat-tricks!
Finally, Head of Ticketing, Shelagh Brock was this year’s recipient of the Michelle Ridley Award, named in memory of our much-missed colleague, and recognising outstanding service of a club employee.
