NEWS: Coventry City announce retained list following end of 2019/20 season

12 June 2020

Coventry City Football Club can announce its retained list following the conclusion of the 2019/20 season.

Forward Jordy Hiwula leaves following the end of his contract, having played 61 games and scored 17 goals in his two years with the Club.

Defender Junior Brown leaves the Sky Blues. He spent this season on loan at Scunthorpe United and made 23 appearances for City after joining last campaign.

Winger Reise Allasani, who made 6 appearances for the Club since joining in 2018, also leaves at the conclusion of his contract, but will remain with the Sky Blues until his injury rehabilitation is completed.

Charlie Wakefield also departs the Club, having made 11 appearances since he joined the Sky Blues in January 2019.

Academy product Callum Maycock leaves the Club when his contract expires this June. The midfielder made his first-team debut in November 2016 and made 12 appearances for the Sky Blues, spending this season on loan at Leamington.

Winger Dexter Walters, who also spent time on loan at Leamington this season, leaves the Sky Blues – he made one EFL Trophy appearance for the Club, having joined in 2018.

Bouwe Bosma and Jak Hickman will also leave Coventry City at the end of their contracts this month.

A one-year option in the contracts of Amadou Bakayoko, Zain Westbrooke and Jordan Young have all been taken up.
