Julian Fellowes is the next Sky Blues fan to choose their best Coventry City side of all time.
Julian, who is pictures with my son and Grandson at Wembley, started following the Sky Blues in 1970 when his 2 sisters took him and his brother to Highfield Road from Rugby.
Julian said: "It's great looking back over the players I have seen and hope you like the selection from different eras."
Now Julian talks us through his side...
Goalkeeper - Steve Ogrizovic
Oggy just shades out Bill Glazier for me. Both great goalkeepers.
Right Back - Mick Coop
Great defenders including Brian Borrows and Danny Thomas at right back but Mick Coop is my choice . He was a great servant from 1962-1980
Left Back - Stuart Pearce
Left bacl gave me lots to choose from. Chris Cattlin and Kenny Samson spring to mind but Stuart Pearce was a fantastic buy from non league Wealdstone
Centre Backs
Endless list. Larry Lloyd, Jim Holton,Brian Kilcline, Jeff Blockley to name a few but I chose Trevor Peake and Gary Gillespie. Quality !
Midfielders
Again we have been blessed with terrific midfielders such as Gerry Daly, Steve Hunt, Paul Telfer, Dennis Mortimer and Barry Powell.
My choice is Willie Carr - I was an 8 year old sat on the west end wall when Willie and Ernie Hunt produced the first ever goal of the season - Peter Ndlovu, Gary McAllister and the best player to wear Sky Blue Tommy Hutchison. What a player!
Forwards
Finally the difficult job of picking 2 forwards. I have seen Neil Martin,Robbie Keane,Mick Ferguson, Gary Thompson,Colin Stein and many others . The two I have chosen are Ian Wallace and Dion Dublin. Great players and I think not a bad side.
