Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
£22,000 per annum
Full-Time (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week)
The Post holder will implement a new five-year Mental Wellbeing programme across Coventry and Warwickshire. The project will involve the planning and delivery of a mental wellbeing intervention that includes mental wellbeing courses, 1-2-1 support, and physical activity support networks.
The postholder will be tasked with working with partners to recruit beneficiaries and then delivering the courses across Coventry and Warwickshire, providing 1-2-1 support outside of the courses, and leading on the delivery of a range of physical activities as part of an ongoing maintenance and resilience building programme.
This role will require a dynamic facilitator and effective organiser who has experience of working with men living with mental health conditions, both in and individual and group setting. The Post holder will need to show initiative and be able to develop a programme of work.
The successful candidate will be the key to improving the mental wellbeing and resilience of men across Coventry and Warwickshire; using knowledge and experience to help them deal with everyday challenges in a positive manner.
This post is a varied position which will involve relationship building, direct delivery of courses and 1-2-1 sessions, leading on physical activity programmes, and working closely with an external evaluator to evaluate the success of this intervention in improving the lives of the men it supports.
