LOAN WATCH: Jordon Thompson Makes Wrexham Debut

Jordon Thompson helped Wrexham to a clean sheet in his debut for the National League side this weekend at the Racecourse Ground.

Thompson started the game and played the full 90 minutes against Dagenham and Redbridge during the 0-0 draw this weekend.

Fellow Sky Blues team-mate, Jordan Ponticelli was also named in the matchday side, but he was an unused substitute in the game.

Elsewhere, Cian Tyler continues to make a strong impression at Barwell, as he was named man of the match in just his second appearance for the club.

Barwell drew 1-1 against Kings Langley away from home and Tyler pulled off a string of fantastic saves to keep his loan side in the game.

In the National League North and it was a disappointing outing for the City trio currently out on loan at Leamington.

The Brakes suffered a 4-2 defeat away at Gateshead, with Callum Maycock playing the full 90 minutes, David Bremang being withdrawn after 68 minutes and Dexter Walters was an unused substitute in his first game back from injury.

Back to the National League and after two clean sheets in his opening games for Solihull Moors, Declan Drysdale’s loan side suffered a 2-0 defeat.

The Moors came up against Maidenhead United and Drysdale was brought off after 56 minutes, when the scores were still level at 0-0.

Finally, Junior Brown missed out for Scunthorpe United in their 3-1 defeat away at Crawley Town due to injury.
