The Sky Blues made it eight games unbeaten in League One, with three points against Bolton Wanderers this past weekend.
City took the lead inside the opening minutes of the game when Fankaty Dabo picked out the run of Amadou Bakayoko and he headed past Remi Matthews to make it 1-0.
The Sky Blues controlled the majority of the game, but were pegged back when Dennis Politic equalised with fifteen minutes remaining.
However, Max Biamou came off the bench and he smashed home the winner in the 90th minute to send City into 4th position in League One.
