The Sky Blues made it five wins in a row in League One and eleven games unbeaten with victory over Rochdale this past weekend.
City took the lead inisde the opening five minutes when Liam Walsh's ball into the box was met by the head of Michael Rose, who scored his second goal of the season.
The Sky Blues then doubled their lead when Matty Godden latched onto a through ball by Jamie Allen and slotted past Sanchez for his 12th of the season.
However, Rochdale pulled back a late consoaltion goal through Aaron Wilbraham and the Sky Blues managed to see out the rest of the game and come away with three points.
