City bow out of FA Cup on penalties...

5 February 2020

The Sky Blues suffered heartbreak in their FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Birmingham City at St Andrew's.

The Sky Blues had taken the lead at the start of the second half through Amadou Bakayoko, after he was on the end of a Zain Westbrooke through ball.

However, Birmingham equalised in the 92nd minute through their captain, Harlee Dean to send the game to extra time.

City were on the frontfoot during the added time and they were rewarded for their efforts when Max Biamou scored in the 114th minute to make it 2-1.

But yet again, this time with a fortunate effort, Jeremie Bela's cross ended up in the back of the net, sending the game to penalties which Birmingham won 4-1.
