CONTRACT: Jodi Jones signs new Coventry City contract!

18 February 2020

Jodi Jones has signed a new contract with Coventry City!

The winger has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Club until June 2021.

22-year-old Jones joined the Sky Blues in March 2016 from Dagenham and Redbridge, and came on as substitute when City won the Checkatrade Trophy at Wembley in 2017.

Part of the League Two promotion winning squad, he saw that season of 2017/18 and also the 2018/19 campaign both cruelly curtailed by ACL injuries.

After hours of hard work in rehabilitation and at Ryton, Jodi came on as a substitute in December 2019 against MK Dons in the Leasing.Com Trophy, which was his first appearance since November 2018, and followed that up with an appearance from the bench against Bristol Rovers in the FA Cip in January.

Jones is currently a regular in the Under 23s as he builds up his fitness following his injury lay off, scoring twice in Monday's draw at Colchester, and the popular forward will now be looking to re-establish himself in the Sky Blues side.
