Sky Blues in the Community along with dedicated volunteers will be taking a trip to Kenya in April 2020!
This is something we have wanted to do for a long time and we are now making this opportunity happen.
Sky Blues in the Community have teamed up with African Adventures to offer the opportunity of a lifetime to Kenya, where our team of volunteers will spend 10 nights working in schools in Nakuru, Kenya’s fourth largest town.
SBITC would like to thank WCG (Warwickshire College Group) who are proud sponsors of one of our amazing volunteers, Oléna Tanner in her forthcoming work in Kenya.
WCG said: “We love to see our graduates engaging in such positive work around the world and Olena will be using skills she developed at Royal Leamington Spa College over a number of years.
"Olena initially studied for a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Visual Communication at Leamington, then stayed on to complete a Foundation degree in Photography.
"She will now be passing on the lessons learned to children in Africa, carrying out photography activities with school children, as well as helping with a school-building project.
"Royal Leamington Spa College and all the staff within WCG wish Olena all the best in her endeavours, which we are sure will be life-changing for her as well as benefiting many others."
