City's youngsters end 2020 with a win...

21 December 2020

The Sky Blues Under-18s ended 2020 with a win away from home against Nottingham Forest following a Harrison Nee winner.

City headed into the game against Forest on the back of an excellent win over Wigan Athletic the week before and they picked up where they had left off.

With 15 minutes on the clock, Sam Rodber scored the opening goal of the game, which was quickly doubled when Harrison Nee scored his first of the day.

However, the Sky Blues had a fight on their hands and Forest quickly pulled one back seven minutes before the half-time whistle

The goal seemed to spur the hosts on and just on the stroke of half-time Forest found themselves on level terms, meaning the two sides heading into the break on level terms.

As the second half went on, the Sky Blues pushed for a winner and they were richly rewarded when Nee scored his second and City’s third of the game after 75 minutes to ensure all three points.
