As each week, Mark Robins has reflected on recent games and looked ahead to the upcoming match in his regular programme column, which you can read in full in PUSB.

Reflecting on the win over Rotherham United on Saturday, the City boss praised the Sky Blues' performance and attitude.

"It was a game where we had to match Rotherham physically," said Robins

"There were some big headers, big tackles and great blocks throughout the team. Our work-rate was excellent too and it’s important that we continue in the same vein."

Looking ahead to tonight's encounter, City face a team who they have played regularly over the last couple of years as both sides have moved from League Two up to the Championship.

"Nathan Jones took over again in May, having had a successful spell in charge previously, and kept them in the Championship," said Robins.

"Nathan likes to get his team playing positive, attacking football and they have had a good start to the season. They were unlucky in their defeat at Swansea City on Saturday and now have over a season’s experience at this level, so it will be another good challenge for us and one we are relishing."

Robins added:

"We should take confidence from our performance on Saturday and look to carry that into tonight’s game. We defended well, created a number of chances and scored good goals, worked hard and showed a tremendous attitude, we will be looking for more of the same this evening."
